@Effedup Check out TheJRPGgamer’s channel. He’s got videos on the most efficient way to upgrade all the weapons.
@BroadcastDepthOnline It’s not the accent, you don’t articulate well so you kinda mumble
But your vids have been very useful, I almost got the last Trophy.
Thanks ^^
@BroadcastDepthOnline That’s funny. U.S. accent.
what do you do if you have multiple accessories. Do you upgrade them all if you have duplicates or just one of them. For example, I have 3 Collector’s Catalog, do I upgrade all three, or just one?
where did you farmed 1.000.000 Gil ???
@lawlestest Not really. It’s good for some things, but for others it’s just not feasible. I’d rather get the guide and have it in front of me then have to run off and jump on my computer and search Youtube for some cam of a TV screen that’s all washed out and likely a non-English release of the game that I can’t follow along with.
Honestly, I’ve found most videos about this game in particular to be pretty frustrating. Some good ones, but a LOT of bad ones…
@Effedup haha, 25 dollar guide.. waste of money dude, youtube is ur guide..
What would be really, really nice is if someone had a guide with EXACT figures of exp for weapons and equipment, I’ve been searching the internet but there’s really no all inclusive guide out there.
Seems odd that no one has done this yet. I have the $25 guide and it doesn’t even say there, it just kinda gives you an overview but no hard figures. Pretty annoying honestly, I’m all for upgrading weapons and shit, but they could at least make it more straightforward.
@samsam24242 I actually sit down and figure out what I want to upgrade and then do the math before hand so I know exactly how many of the organic components I need and the mechanical components I need. Trying to do it in dribs and drabs with a handful of components at a time is a HUGE waste, you really gotta have a plan in mind and know you’re figures if you don’t want to be pissing away items or gil.
You’re right though, no need to upgrade during the story. Best to wait until post-credits…
@samsam24242 Since I wrote that I’ve kinda figured it out, I beat the game the other day, been grinding CP and components since, it’s actually not that bad once you get the hang of it, it’s just a pain in the ass because every item has a different amount of EXP and you gotta do a lot of math to figure out exactly how much to use of what components to keep from wasting money or items (for example, not using organic components beyond the X3 multiplier since it caps).
@Effedup i just finish the game without upgrading any weapon it worthles i didnt understand the upgrading system..the only thing i did i upgraded the crystarium and i was ok.
how do u get so much gil?
i have 0 and im at the part where ur vanille, right after u beat the weird plant turtle boss with lightning and that hope kid in the bio something place with the crystal plants..
THIS GAME IS STUPIDLY LONG. EASIEST WAY TO GET ALL TROPHIES, INFINITE GIL, CP AND ALL ACCESSORIES IS TO HACK IT WITH “FF13 SAVE EDITOR”. IT WILL LET YOU GET EVERYTHING IN THE GAME & IT’S EASY TO DO. YOU WILL STILL GET THE ACHIEVEMENTS & YOU WILL NOT GET BANNED. ALL YOU WILL BE DOING IS MODIFYING YOUR SAVE DATA NOT THE XBOX. TRUST ME I DID IT. OH YEA AND THE COOL PART, YOU GET TO SUMMON AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT SO THOSE BIG TURTLE LOOKING FUKRS ADAMANTOISE ALWAYS STAY DOWN. HOPE THIS HELPS.
@MePlease2211 i would choose the ultra compact because it gives the most experience….the money you loose you can get back again from farming ingots
umm i was wondering this has nothing to do with the video but uhh can u return to gran pulse after leaveing off to cocoon in chapter 11 and also i need help on getting the stor e u can buy shrouds from how do i do that
Good stuff! i had so much trouble understanding the concept of the weapon upgrading until i saw this.
I didn’t know how to upgrade weapons efficiently, thank you very much REALLY HELPFUL
!!!!!!!
I’m so lost with this upgrade shit. I’m almost to chapter 9 and I still haven’t even been to the shop or upgrade systems, haven’t had any problems yet in fights but obviously I want to upgrade my weapons.
I actually do have the guide and it touches on upgrades but I’m still having trouble trying to figure out which weapon I should focus on upgrading. The guide does come in handy for identifying the best grinding spots during the story, having a maxed crystarium makes it much easier at times.
do you have to equip the item or just have it in your inventory
Do you have to max out the teir 3 weapons for the trophy or just get them to teir 3?
@JapanKid9
Upgraded form of Gladius.
@guillermo316 you need a trapezohedron it’s a rare drop from Adamantoise and Long Gui’s
I FINALLY got this fucking trophy
Now I’m so done with this game, I’m never playing it again!
once i’m in tier 2 i don’t know what to use to upgrade to tier 3 help please
Where did you get that weapon for lightning?
the Hetter Sketter i think thats what its called
