holy FAWWWK! I’m playing the Japanese version and I SWEAR I GOT EVERY WEAPON AND ACCESSORY IN THIS GAME! I TALKED TO BHAKTI AND I STILL DIDN’T GET THE TROPHY! HOLY FAWWK! This is so depressing… I don’t wanna start the English version… : (

@SanPeyDro Yes, go to D2 in the Faultwarrens missions… the Flowering Cactuars give Ribbons as their rare drop but you have to kill them fast or they’ll just run away.
Is there a finite or infinite amount of ribbons in the game? Because Ribbon upgrades to super ribbon, but I’ve only gotten one. So if for some dumbass reason you sell your ribbon, is there anyway 2 get another ribbon?
do u just need to have all weapons tier 2 with one Omega weapon per character and all upgraded accessories to get the hunter trophy

not a HD tv when the trophy poped it was really big and when my trophies pop there quite little anyways good job on the platinum i got mine about a month ago was my 33rd now im up to 35

@JAMurida1 Nevermind, seems I was missing on of the resist Debuff. Just got the trophy.
Do you have to do it all on one save or can you have multiple saves? The way I have mine is I have like 7 saves, but there all from the same play through. I have finally got to the point where I have all the stuff. I have triple checked the list and got all the acc/wpns and did all upgrade/downgrades as needed, but still no trophy when I talk to the robot. And do you need to have all acc/wpns in your inventory? I keep seeing you do and you don’t…

@iSimie. To get the trophy Hunter trophy in Final Fantasy 13 you have to get (or had once owned it in the inventory) is to get all weapons and acceseries. Now that may seem easy but u have to get all the upgrades for them as well. Now theres about 134 weapons (48 of which are ultimate i think, and u only need one for each character) and im not sure how many acceseries there is ( there might be 200 or more). But t will take u more than 30 hrs to get it ALL. Good Luck Wit THAT
@Chaosfactor79, it would be better if you try and get Platinum cause other people that play the game or know about it will luv that u have Platinum. I know what u r/were going through cause its (as in the treasure hunter trophy) is the worst trophy to get in the whole game. what u should do (and i know u shouldnt do it) but u should get online and look for a list of all the weapons and acceseries for this game (including all upgrades)though you wont need to get the ultimate weapon for all weapon
@moorekh2 True about the insanity part. 140+ hours in (45 of those hours farming and upgrading) and I checked off everything on the list. He’s still not giving my the award. I pulled out all of my hair and going nuts
I’m missing one thing and I don’t know what it is. I was thinking about farming Ingots for another 40+ hours to buy and upgrade everything all over again, but then I remember how painful it is and I cry myself to sleep. Ill live with the 91% trophy completion rate.

Congratulations on the platanium. I have also got the platanium and it took me just over 120hrs to get. i must say though that treasure hunter trophy could nearly drive someone into sanity. For those who are wondering if there is a “secret” end to the ffXIII game if u get all the trophies, the Answer is known ONCE U urself have got all of the trophies cause thats the fun thing about this game. The l’Cieth trophy was simple if u had the gold watch just to let some no .

@Fish61324 I sold the elemental rings and charms, I don’t think I can get those back. I finished all the cieth missions, found every treasure ball, Gonna try dismantling items by using the gamefaqs guide.
@pauldawisp sorry lol, ONE more thing….. You DON’T need all the accessories in your inventory at the same time. You just need to have held everything at one point in the game. So if you have something and sell it, that’s OK. Unless you needed to upgrade it, than your going to need to get that item back.

@pauldawisp Or it might take a lot of luck to get an item. if the only way to get it is by 1% drop from an enemy. That is a mistake A LOT of people make, they think that it’s possible to miss the Treasure Hunter trophy. But HelmetBreaker24 is right, you need to have all items in one play through. But if all you sold were common items than they won’t be hard at all to get back by the time all the shops are available. This should save you A TON of time.
IF you need a tetra tiara just do MISSION 7 repatedly until you get tiara sometimes you might get crown but sells for 15,000 so its not bad. You can also have a lot more then 4 in whole game i have got + 6 so for 3 turned into sprint shoes for auto Haste and sold other ones for 60k cash. Already have they Kaiser Knuckles.

This technique of killing the adamantoise worked the second time against him. I feel lucky. And I had similar HP to your video, except Hope’s HP which was lower.
@yflashinglights You can use Tetradic Tiara’s to have protect at the start of the battle, there are various ways of getting them in chapter 11, i think 1 way is to dig 15-20 times with the chocobo, look it up, i think you can get 4 in the whole game, and 3-4 of them you can have by chapter 11…
how do you et buffs at the start of a fight, I am out of aegisol, one stomp from the adamontoise and i am dead
@dansg08 Nh im done with Traps. Im just saying this took me a long time to get my 3 TP back.
@kingdom99932 I dont know, for me it did…those 2 wolves that i fight give me around 1/3 of a TP each time and the fight takes 20 seconds…it takes around 10-15 seconds to make them respawn when you run round in a circle, maybe not 2 minutes, but no more than 3-4 minutes. If you want you could start with 5TP, beat 1 toise, fight for 2-3 mins to gain 1 TP point (instead of 3), and if you dont get a trapezohedron in those 2 fights, then reload instead of wasting time getting TP again…
@kingdom99932 When you have the energy sash, it takes under 2 minutes…That for me is a slight problem, there isn’t really a quicker way around it, 2 minutes of Wolf/Behemoth fighting for a Trapezohedron seems worth it to me…Later on in the game when your Stat Maxing and your fighting Toise’s, you wont need TP anyway ,this guide is for EARLY Trapezohedrons, and gaining TP is something that can’t be avoided, but like i said, it doesn’t take that long…
Regaining TP isnt a slight problem. Its actually a huge problem.
@e1yk You obviously werent watching the video, i show you there…you use Trapezohedrons to upgrade your level 2 weapons…

@the21stvlad I suppose so, i just find it easier to mash x instead of select alternating spells, ive got by the game fine by doing it this way so im cool with it, but i see your point, thanks for letting me know…This was my 1st playthough so i wasnt that clue’d up on battle mechanics…
@dansg08 @dansg08 I just know that Thunder is the quickest acting spell and alternating between different spells builds the chain faster than repeating a spell. I guess its more of a clarification/ advice than a legitimate question.

No real reason, its the quickest way to do it, it doesnt make much difference if i select another element/type, the damage output is similar, i just do it because its the easiest/quickest way
Why do you restrict yourself to casting only fire?
@charlesinator5 I think it is Perovskite, just gather some gil and buy all the catalysts 1 by one to check, and restart the game if its the wrong one, if money is an issue, but i think its Perovskite…

@FinalFantasyPlayer12 you have to complete a certain Cieth Mission in order to be able to ride the chocobos, its a pretty easy mission, and the “Mark” is in the waterfall area, so you should be able to unlock them soon…
how do you get chocobo’s?! D: iv been to the waterfall where they are, but idk how to get on them and ride around

@dansg08 I am actually at the end of the game right now everyone has max CP. I can’t go anywhere on the Crystal Grid because it hasnt expanded for some reason even though I’m at the last boss. I took down ALL the turtles already. My team I used against the turtles are Vanille, Fang and Hope. Two Sabatours and Hope as a Senergist.
@1Sandwitch1 I would give the item to fang since she has the highest HP, in all fairness you could swap fang in for snow as he has the higher HP, but to be honest all your characters could have 1HP and you could still beat this thing, so i would focus your accessory slots on maximising the chances of getting items…have you done mission 55? i would equip a growth egg too so you can at least get some good CP for winning even if you dont get the item…
Thanks, ya it helped. And I just saw another vid showing off killing the guy. So I got two ways now to test out how I want to beat it. And ya I got the item for increasing the chances. I probably wont be able to equip it since I only got 3 accessory slots.
