Well Dajh was only turned into one because the fal’Cie they were targeting in that flashback wanted protection. he wanted Dajh to stop and capture the Pulse l’Cie.
This part is so sad T_T Even though I don’t know japanese so did I pass this part yesterday in the english version.

Ok. Basically Fang and Vanille failed to complete their focus and thats why the fal’cie are turning more people into l’cie. Thats the reason Serah turned into a L’cie. So Vanille feels responsible, because if it weren’t for her and Fang, this wouldn’t have happened. Fang says this to Lightning in a previous part.

amazing, definately a quality game so happy i managed to test FF XIII before final release. lots of sites offer beta copies for free, i got mine from BetaTestGamers 2 thumbs up!

Really? But doesn’t Cid tell that one guy to shoot him? Even though he was brought back by the fal’Cie, he was still marked as a l’Cie, right? So wouldn’t he have turned into a Zombie?
There’s a lot of hallucinating going on in this FF game. Lightning sees a hallucination of Serah with Snow. Hope sees a hallucination of Snow as his mother when he’s leaning against the balcony. And now Serah is imagining Sazh shooting her. It’s a new concept in the FF games and I think it gives great insight into what’s going on in their subconscious.
ya know, had Sazh kiled Vanille, he himself would have been in some deep shit because when an l’Cie dies before completing his/her focus, then they turn into fal’Cie Zombies.

He lost hes son, Vanille betrayed him, but I don’t think he would kill himself…
In the previous part (part 75), Jihl shows Sazh video evidence of Fang and Vanille talking, being the ones who caused it all.

I have to be honest, my Japanese isn’t top notch either. But it’s something about Fang and Vanille being the ones responsible for starting everything. They triggered the Fal’Cie who started turning everyone into crystals, including Serah and Dajh. So Vanille feels extremely guilty, she mentions to Sazh (in chocobo area) in an earlier part that she knows who’s responsible but is interrupted before she can tell him.
why does she feel like shes responsible for dajh being a crystal? please tell me so i can understand

@ritsusha yes you do! you have to fight all the summons what’s worse is each person has a doom timer if you don’t beat it your charcter dies and it’s game over.

Well the basic jist is that Vanille feels responsible for Dajh becoming a crystal, and so shes telling Sazh to shoot her and crying. Sazh says some stuff like shooting her won’t change anything thats happened etc. and in the end he decides not to, based on their friendship. Shes guilty that he didn’t shoot her because she feels like she deserved it.
