@SILLYR0BOT822 Because in order for him to be born, his parents need to be killed.
Therefore, when he is born, his parents are dead.
@UltimasIsland its either rule the world or destroy it
Rulers: Emperor, Zemus (he was going to take over after killing everyone), sephiroth (tried to become a god), ultimecia. See theres so few rulers and the rest are basicly wanting to destroy
Destroyers: kefka, CoD, ExDeath, Kuja, Necron, etc.
@alfred4king And have you noticed every final boss just wants the world destroyed for no apparent reason? If it’s not that, then they just fight you for no specific purpose except “Cloud i want your darkness” or “I Shuyin will find my lover!” and such @_@
i swear these final bosses get more creative and weirder every game i mean in FF1 we fought a knight who became a god in FF5 we fought a tree who harnessed nothingness, FF8 was some old lady obsessed with time and now we’re fighting wall ornaments whats the next final boss going to be?

Anyone notice towards the end, it lost its clock form and looked more like a giant form of that owl thing?
Lightning’s Speech would be a lot more dramatic if it weren’t adressed to a Cliche villian who is goal is to destroy the world so there will be no suffering because noone can suffer if they’re all dead.

i was in stitches after i staggered him, because after i started attacking with fang and light, all i could see was “99999″ xD
Orphan looks like that thing Edea (FF8) wears on her back.
This is just a theory but I think the final boss is a clock because it symbolises how much time you have left before you turn into a Cit’he (sorry if I sad cieth or what ever)

@JohnMurrill I had to wait it out with the poison during the last leg of Orphan’s first form, and prayed my guys would still be alive, but…it was hard, man. It was hard. And no “she said” jokes
The beginning cutscene gave me chills…

@JohnMurrill actually Barthandulas (sorry if spelled wrong lol) fused or merged with orphan while orphan was asleep within the water. Thats why his first form resembles a mother and a father. Orphan’s true form the second form is awaken due the destruction of his parents. When I said his second form in my previous comment I meant to say his first b/c you fight Barthandulas first before his merges with orphan. His first form is hard to alot of people b/c they use the wrong pardigrims against him.
