@ProjectDecade There’s your flaw, bro. You should have set Gambits up in a way that you had to do more as a player. For example, I only used Gambits for buffs on my party. Everything else was done by me going into the menu and selecting it myself. I did attacking, healing, enemy debuffing and magick attacks all myself via the menu. Also, I did that shit for EVERY character in my party.
Gambit system doing everything was only ideal for epic grinding or people who just wanted to play that way.
@Galvanizer67 The gambit system was innovative, but only really required me to attack, use potions/ cure, and the odd spell if I was tasked to use it.
Most of the time, whilst grinding, you had to do nothing at all if you set up the gambits to do everything for you.
I’m not saying it was bad, just a bit too simple if you ask me. The paradigm system requires constant action, the gambit system… well, doesn’t.
@Galvanizer67 there were 64 side missions, and 2 extremely challenging boss fights after 61 (that weren’t related to the side missions, more acting like unlockables), and plenty of exploration to do after chapter 10…
But what did you expect? L’cie just waltzing into a town and trading gil for weapons? The Linearity suits the story.
“it was a good game” > quoted from your comment.
I’m confused, in your original comment you said it was ‘shit’ ?
@ProjectDecade FFXIII was great graphically and had a stylish battle system. However, it lacked too many JRPG staples such as towns, conversable NPCs, side-quests, mini-games, exploration, etc. It was a good game, but it was a massive step back from FFXII in every area apart from graphics, IMO.
@Galvanizer67 How? I know FFXII had the best reviews out of any FF game (yes, even VII, it had a higher professional rating and everything) but FFXIII was brilliant.
@TheFinal360 Thanks for agreeing with me, bro. I hope they bring back the FF12 battle system in a future FF game.
@Galvanizer67 You are the shit
THX man I was wondering how the battle works Im going to buy it because it doesnt have a final fantasy 12 crappy battle system
@superfail1 Not FFXII, and that one was awesome
Shit game.
FF12 battle system was way better. Haters of FF12 should have just played with Gambits off the party leader.
@BoxxyFan
Agreed.
FPS games are not my favourite either.
Im sorry to have put this game down though.
Shouldve kept my mouth shut really lol
@tjedwards007 If you hadn’t said that Final Fantasy XIII was shit (great game) I would’ve liked your comment because FFIV was the best
lol this shit suck fastpace gameplay more like fast pace cutscene where you cannot dodge any shit thrown at you which the fastpace serve no purpose at all more like turnbase controlling one character meh…
@superfail1 lol this shit suck fastpace gameplay more like fast pace cutscene where you cannot dodge any shit thrown at you which the fastpace serve no purpose at all more like turnbase controlling one character meh…more like 33% turn base
man,.. FF13 had the perfect gameplay..
@kkonstantinosss2 ff13 was shit compared to there past games. ff4 was best imo
I hated FF13′s combat system.
It made the original ATB systems of the previous installments look like Devil May Cry…
gayer than adventure quest!
@daputas people who play this are heros
people who play this are heros
People who play this must be sad, sad men.
@BoxxyFan The whole point of FPS is the online multiplayer.
@Ncnk1 Dude, what the fuck.
