Okay now onto the big chapter! This place has a lot to explore! First before I can do that, I gotta get through this guy! This battle was so close I was being crazy, I hope you enjoy it on the edge of your seat as you see my doom counter going way down!

Phoenix Downs and Raise can revived knocked out members…though getting one to cast it sometimes is annoying, since they want to heal everyone else first then Raise.
it took one try to beat alexander and i were scared though.
my doom time were 374 when i defeated him

1. You spelled phoenix wrong.
2. Well then we’d have to assume that Phoenix Downs only applied to unconscious teammates who were just incapacitated and not those to fully dead since of course your party would be alive after every battle.

@ainmelover321 In battle they don’t die, they’re just knocked out. And when everybody is knocked out that’s when the enemies kill you. Phoenix potions only ever revive a “KO’d” player.
My trick on beating him is quite easy, start off with Protection (Syn, Med, Sen) and cast Protect to everyone. Then move on to Relentless Attack (Rav, Rav, Com) and raise the gestalt meter. When your HP gets low, switch to Combat Clinic and heal up a bit.
I beat this without any shrouds, no-one KO’d and I got about 800 left in the Doom meter.

I used RAV/RAV/SEN and MED/MED/SEN but I started out with RAV/RAV/COM so fang would running attacking alex and get away from hope then switch to RAV/RAV/SEN
cause hope would stupidly stand next to fang while in SEN and still get hit by the shockwaves of alexander’s punches which defeats the whole purpose of SEN to being with, the AI movement for the characters is retarded sometimes as they have them stand to the worse spots just to get fucked by area of effect attacks

@ainmelover321 because in battle K.O I think means knocked out and phoenix down just wakens them up but since he’s dead he can’t use it that’s my theory.
Easiest one so far, all u have to do is use: fortisol and aegisol before start, make mystic tower, rav rav sen, spam thunder or whatever untill his meter is full: 1124left and I was done, ridicolous. NEVER USE COM in a god fight, u dont have to focus on his stagger, commander only stables the stagger meter, all its good for else it will fall, but theese bosses dont have stagg meters, so go all out ravage + sentinel with fang to survive! (in case u get low use med med sen and then go back.
@ZidanexKujaEX Only because of the lack of really long side quests. Which really isn’t that bad imo. I preferred the missions being the only side quest that gave you all the good stuff and was challenging unlike final fantasy 8′s REALLY long card game side quest which could be completely ruined if you messed it up. Anyway the story from start to last boss at least is about the same as any other final fantasy game.
@NiroJamez i havent even gotten to this part yet. but judging by Hope’s abilities w/ being a Synergist, i’d say ud hav to strengthen ur allies defenses. Brynhildr (Sazh) required u strengthen ur allies’ attacks

@ainmelover321 Try playing FFV, those kinds of things happen about 999,999,999 times, and then they actually get off their asses and do it to Galuf, but then it doesn’t work!
I really hated how fucking short this game was. Square-Enix bragging about how they worked so long on this? For what? A 2-3 day game? This was an excellent game. But I think by some other company they would’ve made this longer. -.-
