I don’t understand why Vanille’s Eidolon didn’t show up on this scene too because she was lost in her way too, just like Sahz.
I was hoping to badly that it would be Ifrit when I saw this scene.
I used a Ravager and Ravager paradigm to take him down. I spanned Aero. When HP was low for either Sazh or Vanille, I switched to a Synergist and Medic combo. As Vanille healed, I buffed her until HP was back to a decent amount.

@psgman41 Haha Final Fantasy and other JRPGs tend to be a bit melodramatic. If you’re used to it, this becomes a great form story telling. I, for one, think this game is very well-written.
The scenario and dialogues of this game are pathetic. That’s sad cause it’s a great game and i finished it. But talk about some cheesy cutscenes…
This cut-scene is my personal favorite so far. I started the game again from the last save JUSt to watch it again.

You mean her. Brynhildr is a girl (check out the high heels). And yes derricklyles, now I know that name is from mythology. At first glance it looks made up though, lol.
@gigas81 Haha all of their names are not random, they are based on some sort of mythology and historical figure.
Don’t complain about not having haste, the fun about these battles is trial and error, for me at least. I figured out about Brynhildr’s weaknesses then just casted bravery to vanille and sazh, then let loose a barrage of magic spells(other than fire), then heal when needed to.
Of course, because all black guys like guns and cars.
this took me 00:02:02 minutes, DONT COMPLICATE IT!
u dont have to focus on stagger!
His weakness is Frost and he absorbs fire, rest is normal!
When you’re in that hallway with Sazh before the fight put on:
Fortisol and Aegisol, which gives u haste, vigi and the rest.
In that battle go directly into Dual-casting stance (Ravage+Ravage) I spammed Aero with Sazh meanwhile she automaticly spammed Blizzard.
Change stance to Yin&Yang whenever ur HP is low, and then back to dual! back and forth!

This was a good cutscene. It was so good that I actually looked up who Brynhildr was because I thought Square was making up some more random names again. Im not a mythology major, sue me.
