@TheFantasticCorndog i kinda like the new battle system. Its much more fast paced and forces you to think faster. It was a little boring in the beginning and was much too easy, but then when you get past chapter 11 and start doing the higher side quests, it hits you hard with challenge. (especially the side quest) I still enjoy the old battle systems of older final fantasy’s but this was a nice change of pace
@TheFantasticCorndog because everything needs to change to stay fresh, new, and invite new fans to the franchise.
yes i can talk japanes so wat lol
私は今までの戦闘システムの儀式uは私のためにヒントを得た取得することができます i can ever get the battle system rite u got tips for me
wow a game that i DON”T PLAY!
thanx for the help
Can I get my other members on my team to not attack the enemy I am attacking
@TheFantasticCorndog becaus eyou cant do the same thing for 15 years and be considered a good game by others
it would be like getting an fps in the 80s and playing a new one in 2010 and it haveing the same battle system which was basically front back side to side and shoot their was no reload no jump no interaction with environment nothing just moving and shoot would you really want that
@95emmalie
you mean Sazh
@ZGzoids Sorry I have not answered until now. Yes, you can create your own attack chain manually, you don’t have to choose auto battle every time. Auto probably is good for 90% of situations but for those 10% you can queue up attacks yourself. I think I mention this in the video. I don’t know what it’s called in the US version but I think it’s the “command” menu (right below the attack menu) in the JP version.
question
I recently got the game and for the attks, is there a way i can change attack and Blitz into something else? Or remove ruin with something else. I seem to have unlocked like water ability for Lightning but I can’t switch to that type of attk. IS there a way to do so or it’s just the game automatically?
Let me know, thanks
LOL you said the names wrong, Its not Vanilla, its Vanille. And its not Sah, its Sahz >.<
i have no idea whether to let lightning use blazefire saber or the gladius – can anyone please suggest to me? i suck at making decisions!!! this is a very complicated game itll take me a while to get used to it
very helpful
I just miss the old style of 1 – 10, Why are they so set on changing it?
Yeah im leaning torwards dont like. It has its flaws and makes it more boring
I’m in the camp that doesn’t like the battle system. Otherwise, it’s a solid JRPG.
Yeah, it’s like the word ‘book’ meaning, you ‘read’ the mob. It’s like the old ‘peep’ skill.
this must be the first time guard/defend is useful :S
in other games i didnt seem to use it.. (final fantasy x)
@Playongo ok, I saw how costy those roles are. Thanks a lot!
OMG. I want this game NOW!
@IldeTheTerror I’d recommend just sticking
with the 3 roles each character currently knows.
The extra roles cost quite a bit more to level
for some reason. If you level the first few
crystals you should see what I mean.
Hey I need an advice in a thing here, please. I’m in the part where every character can learn any role and I’d liked to ask should I teach the characters more roles now or determine on the three roles already progressed?
Since it’s Final Fantasy, I’d say Poison, Demi, Breaks, and Earth, respectively. I wouldn’t quote that, though. I’m just guessing.
dude its LIBRA AS IN THE ZODIAC SIGN
Programming this game and putting it up looked like a big pain in the ass.
@daresdrop LOL u rant like a fag
dun cry u want fast pace play fps this game only give u fast pace cutscene no dodge u kidding me
((((what is the point of action game or fast pace if there is no dodge u only stand there waiting for enemy to throw PILE OF SHITat you
you die becus of luck pray that the enemy dun attack you or miss
want play real fast pace game play fps dun be a fastpace whore :;)
Its the calm lands in the background!
fuck anyone who says otherwise…. this is great! I don’t wanna stand…. wait… select… wait…. get attacked wait…. then attack…… then wait…….. i want something that flows and keeps the pace of a BATTLE not a fuckin board game! although this was acceptable for me in previous ff games… I think it got a little old by 2010. thank god for this system.
He sounds so…cute…
The battle system definitely has major flaws. Even the game in general has major flaws. But so do all games. There are a few things about the battle system and even the menu system that frustrate me beyond belief. Story seems cheesy at points. But its a good rpg game, maybe even great. However, doesn’t quite live up to FF hype. Only fan boys will be severely disappointed.
that girl who is translating needs to speak up a little more
she’s a good translator
@daresdrop
A perfect example of when a 12 year old on the intardnet who learned to curse from his whore-mom getting rammed every night
@AZNkeeenu yeah it is real easy at first man but there are definetly times where you cant just tap x to win.
@WillPk4FOOD
final fantasy 10 battle system final fantasy 10 battle system bitch bitch bitch
Final fantasy 13 has a great fast paced battle system, which is easy to use, once you get to a certain point. I don’t want to play a new ff game that has the same old shit. So stop bitching about it fuck I’m sick of seeing people bash FFXIII its a great game so stfu
This battle system is pretty cool (and I don’t care how many thumbs down I get for saying this). The battles were meant to seem real-time, and they do. Just glancing at it andsayig “this is different so it sucks” is the worst anybody can really do, XD I played FFX the other day and was bothered by how long it took to fight (you can’t see your enemies before you get there; WTF, seriously) and fighting EVERYONE in the party jsut made everythin feel scheduled and unnecessary.
FFXIII FTW.
Wish they’d go back to a FF4 or 10 battle system
the only issue i had with this battle system is the “Auto-battle” command which made everything way too easy.
@TheSonicmaster68 actually i think the girls voice that you hear speaking is the voice of the translator otherwise we would here the guy speaking japanese
this game fuking sucks played it for 20 hours max, and gave up on this piece of crap
@BlackLoveSwan now dissidia was golden spot on
the battle system ws the best one sqare enix had ever created and my gosh they better make a dissidia 2
@BlackLoveSwan btw dont reply back because like they say “figthin on the internet is like winin in the specil olympics,either way your still a dumbss
@BlackLoveSwan oh has the prick from his slumber?
you seem pretty contradictory telling me im a flaming fag wehn the only person falmin us you
i just simply stated my opinion and you acted like i had just shot your fuckin mom
@Dyssadia thank you bro i hated ff7 i enjoyed squalls and tidus story much more
heck im 16 yr old who played the fff back in the day and it was beasting still love garland
@1hitgamer boooh, never said FF7 was the best, said it was a good game, im tired of dicks like you who dont read what people type but just let their brain stand on 0 and flame at somebody because that makes you feel good. i love every FF since 1 – 10, X-2 a bit cause i like cute stuff to, but everything after that was crap, including this FF13 wich isnt worth 1 bloody cent you worthless air consuming maggot.
@BlackLoveSwan hey im tired of dicks who think ff7 was the best just beacus cloud was in it
jeez the original ff that came out in 1087 was gold
gtfo ff7 OMG
@BlackLoveSwan FF7 was a horrible game that made the FF melodrama stigma. The only thing it really had going for it was its awesome music and setting. Everything was complete garbarge with its stereotypical heroes, convoluted and poorly translated story and a mama’s boy for a villain. The only real thing FF7 has is its annoying fanbase that claim it something akin to the holy grail cause they can’t grow up.
@turtleboat SE is trying new things and I am definitely in favor for the system in XIII than previous FF due its de-emphasis on micromanaging the characters. The problem with XII was that the gambit system was “solely” based on programing the characters which totally defeats the purpose in playing the game. In XIII, the battles are paced very fast, and in some cases youll be glad that your characters werent under your control for input. Its a bold move yet when executed was very smart.
played it for 2 hours, ot gief it a small chance, then i took out the cd and threw it in the trash, then i started FF7 again to remind myself of teh days FF was actualy a good game
