After maxing out your characters’ roles, the next step is farming money for upgrades or the expensive purchases. The Adamantaimai are the best choice though their drop rates are fairly low. Location: entrance of Eden Necessary requirements: 3 TP, maxed characters, Good Choice, and Best Choice. Be sure to save before fighting. If you don’t receive an item at the end of the battle, restart and try again. Remember that the drop rates are low and will require multiple retries. But hey – this is much better than spamming Death with Vanilla since this is a guaranteed kill. Yes, the music used is a remixed song from Chrono Trigger. It’s called “Dream of Black” from the remixed album Chronotorious. Awesome album – check it out on iTunes if you can.

*PLEASE READ THE VIDEO DESCRIPTION* *SPOILERS WARNING* Boss 6: Odin (1:13) This guy can be an ass if he wants to, specialy cause he can get both Hope and Light in a single combo and knock them down, which makes the battle drag and in the worst case end with Lighting dead. To win you have to do chaining, which pretty much is what you have been doing in the boss battles the whole time: watch your HP and keep attacking, specialy with raveger role to build up the chaining faster. I’m a little farther than orphans cradle and I hate the one boss. he hits 9000 and I only have 8500 HP. I am maxed out for my level too. How can I beat him?
@Valgas651 I’m guessing you haven’t beaten the game yet. It goes to 6 after you beat it.
So..in the japan version of Final Fantasy 13 the player can have 6 ATB’s to attack?
@macerolon Have you finished the game? To unlock the final expansion you need to beat the final boss =)
im at stage nine but i cant level up no more how do you get stage 10 unlocked??
@Parkjisung91 there are five actually, no horn, 2 horns, broken horn, shoalong gui and long gui.
you can drop the horned ones and long gui, without the summon you have to take down both legs

Spamming Blitz with Sahz is way easier than this.
So the game doesn’t stop or reset or something? You just play on? (Where are after the end trailers? On Gran Pulse?)
@Effedup There were some changes to the NA version, though I’m not sure what most of them were. One of my other videos that showed a great farming spot for CP changed – in the NA version the player isn’t able to get a pre-emptive strike.
FF13 was more popular in Japan and disliked by many Westerners because it has a really “J-RPG” feel and was linear. I’m assuming this is the reason why you don’t see many NA version videos on Youtube.

I still don’t get why the Japanese version is so much more prevalent on Youtube. Is there some benefit to the Japanese version that is not in the NA version?
Can anyone explain to me why the majority of the FFXIII videos on youtube are of the Japanese version? Does nobody with the NA client have screen cap software or what??
I don’t have a problem with Japanese or anything, but it’d be nice as a viewer to be able to follow the action and see what the Paradigms are and such, or the stats on the weapons.
there are 2 types of turtle, one with horn and no horn.
can u only make the one with horn fall on it’s leg like that?

@ekoh8873 it does go away. most of the time you can either beat the mission you started or start up another mission and beat that one.

the best to go about this fight is to have light and hope equiped with spark rings and just have light as a medic to heal hope best way to get the bar up

Pop both those things before the fight… stay light as ravager and hope as medic and gg.. just did the whole thing auto fight
no actually they learn the same skills if i read correctly.
buff? like i’ve upgraded light’s weapon four/five times already, same with Hope…but then i don’t know what to do, like i get knocked out within the first few seconds…ugh, it is so annoying. but thanks, i do appreciate the advice

I found a way to make this battle super easy(or atleast 1k times easier for me lol), just buff urself before you go into battle, makes it so much easier, then when he is defending himself you attack, and when he attacks you keep urself healed, hope this helps!
ugh…i’ve gotten this far and i’m having trouble beating him still, i have yin&yang and dualcasting, but i don’t know what to do…i’ve tried getting him like five times already…anyone have any game advice?
The battle is tough but haste helps alot.
