Just got my FF13 Guide book! Collector’s Edition. The reason I got this is because I have the import version of FF13 for the PS3 (I can’t stand the english dub). Thinking of using it as a guide but now I want to keep it as a collection.

jesus christ what is with that ATB gauge? i only have 4 at this part of the game
i guess i need to grind for a while, youre doing much more damage than i am
@wanderer78 yes it is, i had fangs ultimate weapon before i fought orphan, remember this takes time. i sometimes went 8 battles before it dropped an item, just make sure that you are fighting an adamantoise and not a turtle.
Is it even possible for you to get a Trapezohedron from a Adamantoise before beating Orphan? I killed this thing 4 times while using the Connoisseur Catalog and didn’t get the drop.

u really dont need to use the death method with a good set up and fang/bahamut total decimation in under 3 mins on adamantoise at lv 5 but i did use death tilli was confident with fangs abilities

what weps r u using to boost the chain gauge so fast? i got ultima but i guess its not enough
@niralpokal I just found out that beating those mission that was in a circle makes them way stronger. Man , i made a big mistake by doing that. All my weapons and accesories are not even maxed out. dam. now where am i going to go to farm. i feel like starting a new game.
@gocaliber yeah all of them but one change evin the small one, the one adamantoise roames the central plains, like near the center to en portion of it.
@niralpokal yeah but even the smaller ones without the chains on the feet do that now. they never use to cast ultima before. only quake . i use to get 5 stars in 5 minutes and either sell the items or upgrade my weapons. Now i need to upgrade 1 more weapon but the monsters seem way more stronger now evers since i been doing all the missions
@gocaliber you are fighting long gui, he is much stronger then an adamantoise and you will need to be almost maxed, i stopped playing ff13 for a long time and never fought him, so i cant tell exactly how to beat him but it should be similar to the adamantiose
i use to beat him just like this i was doing 999,999 damage to it after the summon finished and it staggering. Now when i fight it , (same strategy)) i only can do about a max of 200,000. this is after its laying down, all my charaters are buffed and he is debuffed, now he cast ultima instead of quake. wtf. it took 60000 hp and instantly killed me . whats gives all of a sudden?
its easier to just use death,(vanille) the thing dies within 1 minute, dunno why everyone makes it so complicated…
How did you make it fall down like that?
Does the summon do that automatically?

my method:
team: fang, lightning, vanille (god i hate saying vanille)
start with rav/rav/rav stagger a leg
go to com?med?med or com?sen?med
use fangs highwind to take down both legs (equip her with genji glove)
when its down, syn/rav/rav
then when u have bravera faithra + haste, go to sab/rav/rav
go to com/com/com to get prize
note: u will need about 2900 str for fang
u will need full crystarium for
fang: sab,rav,syn,com
light:rav,com,sen
vanille:(god i hate saying her name) com/med/rav

This video isn’t really reliable due to the fact that you use shrouds.
Ima just say, if your “FARMING” use the Farming method of Death. If your trying to say “hey i beat it w/o death” then dont go and use Shrouds, Summon, And be Crystrium 10 with Fang at 24k Health. Sorry bro but THUMBS DOWN on this one.
@emmarocks710 An extra $25 more is not worth it as the extras are just hardcover, and some additional pages. But if you want to collect it, then it’s up to how much value you see in it.
is it worth paying an extra $25 or more just to get the collector’s edition or should i just get the standard guide?
@KILL3RKI3R4N I got it for around $19 preordered so I think it was worth it. But if it was $34, I’m not sure if I would have gotten it.

@hm0ngfrostedflakes I don’t think the guide is specific to any console so it would work for either 360 or PS3.

That totally sucks. I’m sure gamestop, being as big as they are, should have standard operating procedures regarding reservations and preorders otherwise there will be tons of complaints. I bet they sold it to their friend or someone who offered more money. They should have offered you at least $10 Gift Certificate as an apology.
I reserved mine at my local game stop the fuck$#%# people who work there sold it I got to buy it on ebay for 10 dollars more
