FFXIII – Titan Trials Final – Mission 51 Attacus – Five Stars

Attacus is one of the toughest enemies in the game that you can only fight once completing all of the missions inside the Titan’s Trials. To get to mission 51 simply go to the fourth area in the Titan’s Trials(any of the fourth areas will do), and locate his Cie’th Stone. Be prepared for about a 10-20 minute battle based on your parties attributes. You want to keep your party buffed and Attacus debuffed throughout most of the battle. Attack constantly with RAV/RAV/RAV and switch to COM/RAV/MED to heal when necessary. Remember to rebuff and debuff when necessary. At about 75% health Attacus will pull out a new sword and begin launching much more powerful attacks. Fight him in pretty much the same way but be a bit more cautious of your HP. Once Attacus reaches about 350% on the chain gauge switch to COM/COM/REV to start doing some serious damage. Finally at about 45% HP, Attacus will pull out his final sword and show his true form. He will begin charging up an attack that will most likely kill an individual member of your party. I’m pretty sure that he will not target the leader with this attack but don’t hold it to me=) Once you get Attacus down to approximatly 10% HP summon a powerfull Eidilon like Bahamut

what I do is called a “Gran Pulse Marathon”. I start from the beginning of pulse and kill any and all of the monster who are in my until. I’ll keep doing this until I’ll make it to the end of Oerba village, and then I’ll turn back and do it again. It works and just by doing one lap from valis media to Oerba, you’ll get around 400,000.
what does the mob drops?
@Amorancia123 Dude, you would have died instantly.
i cant even kill the king behemoth with 2 hits
Where is the best place to level up on Grand Pulse? There has to be a faster way than fighting two King Behemoth’s in the Central Expanse.
nice nice
Also, if you reach 20 minutes battle duration, Attacus will cast Doom on you.
@aero11234 when u complete the game you can get level 5 upgrades
Titan would have around 100 trillion hp, his punches would be one hit kill and not even the ultimate weapons could put a dent to it. That’s power.
sucks you can’t fight titan
woop woop thanks for the help oct4v30n2, died a few times trying this at first didnt follow everything u said but most of it, cheers =D genji glove rocks time to go kick gigantuars ass = /. attacus didnt cast doom on me that time and yet all the other times he did… but i suppose it was because i didnt take so long, i wasnt being so conservative constantly using fangs ability as a sentinel to take damage and instead using her ability to kick butt lol =] anyway thanks again gr8 help
I five starred in 11 minutes on the first attempt, I just wanted to see how well I’d do… it wasn’t that bad, and I still can’t beat those adamantoises!
@KotoRyu the reason hope survived is because hope is epic
@oct4v30n2 more like chuck norris.
LOL i ALWAYS use this team!
Holy Hell Grey Fox became a Cieth
@IDukesI he is immune to random chain breaking and chain breaking period you cant break him
@IDukesI Well you can forget about instant chaining this guy. Instant Chain WILL NOT work on any enemy level 50 and above (all bosses are level 50+). Neochu is the only mutherfucker I depended on instant chain here haha.
attacus casts DOOM! i dont know what know what to do no potion or accessories can help…pls help me anyone
he attacked the hell out of my party leader with meditation… and my party leader was Hope. survived somehow
@SonividSulegnaEkez It was probably Auron lol.
I wonder what kind of L’Cie Attacus was before he became such a strong Cieth…?
@Marisa1stump Titan is DLC if enough people request it.
@AdamSandlerfan93 No… but I think if enough people send requests to Sony and SE, they might make him as a DLC Boss… or maybe he’s already on the disk and just needs to be unlocked, but theyre busy fixing FFXIV for the PS3.
@Grayhatt Think Vegnagun from FF X-2.
