why dont you go get the megisotherian and the king behemoth fighting instead? they give you way more cp and the battle only takes seconds

  2. AJVENTURA323No Gravatar says:

IF YOU GOT THE GROWTH EGG EARLY(-8000HP-) LIKE I DID, ITS FASTER I GET 13,200 EVERY 15-20 SECONDS AT THE CLIFF. EVERY FIGHT TAKES ME 7 SECONDS.

  3. thedog6552No Gravatar says:

@FarazR2 alright so the ones down the cliff give more cp but what about loot which this gives loot but what about the other one

  4. FarazR2No Gravatar says:

@thedog6552 Well you run a bit longer to do both, and the one in this video only gets you 4000 points. If you just keep running up and down the cliff to the fighting ones down below, then you get 6600 per fight. It’s almost the same amount of time, but more CP per fight, and generally faster fights (15 seconds per fight = 2 times a minute with walking time, for 13200 CP vs 8000 in this video)

  5. thedog6552No Gravatar says:

@FarazR2 what if i do both does that help 2 get more?

  6. Zappafan1980No Gravatar says:

    @BodyEngel

    yeah know ive seen it,

That doesnt change the Fact that the Texture looks like Playstation 2 Texture

    shame on Square Enix

I hope Final Fantasy XIII-2 is going to be a better game, they say they want to make it a classic Final Fantasy again

  7. BodyEngelNo Gravatar says:

@Zappafan1980 It’s PS3, you see the L1-button left to “Paradigm Shift” in fighting mode.

  8. blackghostukNo Gravatar says:

Nice tips and thank you! :)

  9. Zappafan1980No Gravatar says:

Notice how low the rock textures at 0 : 33 are, is that the X-Box 360 or the PS 3
    Version of the game ?

Holy shit they look like Playstation 2 Textures,

Ha Square Enix you thought nobody would look that close huh ?

Yeah im a graphics Nerd sorry

  10. SteveIzHxCNo Gravatar says:

@Thegreencrow Why would that help anyone? Besides, they could Libra/librascope all of that information out of him anyway…

  11. NovelladelledaNo Gravatar says:

You guys thing Cid raines is hard?

The clad will give you a run for your money, not to mention The final boss xD DAMN.

  12. Bjs09100No Gravatar says:

@caluber002 means that your cg is maxed out

  13. FarazR2No Gravatar says:

Why can’t you just go down on the cliff? that battle is just as short (16 secs for me) for 6600 CP. the running is the same amount and you always get a pre-emptive.

  14. UnrealLinkNo Gravatar says:

hmm, im allready in the sanctum back how can i go back to the underworld ?

  15. caluber002No Gravatar says:

what does he mean max out your status?

  16. zadamilaNo Gravatar says:

    i beatttt him finally

  17. SyvmanaNo Gravatar says:

    I never noticed that.

  18. ThegreencrowNo Gravatar says:

@zadamila Okay. I had Troubles with Cid Raines too. If it helps, these are his Stats:
    HP:226,800
    STR:136
    MAG:172
    STAGGER:300%
    Poinson:30%, De-Protect:30%, Imperil:30%, Slow:30%,De-Shell:30%,De-Brave:10%,Fog:10%, Curse:70% Provoke:100%

  19. zadamilaNo Gravatar says:

im still on cid raines and its been 2 wks

  20. ThegreencrowNo Gravatar says:

I just can’t wait to get to Gran Pulse, but i wish The Fith Ark would be shorter( …. ……plus if you pass that save point and slay the behemoth and other creature, that is good to grind…:)

  21. SyvmanaNo Gravatar says:

I’m on Chapter 12, is there any grinding spot?

  22. SyvmanaNo Gravatar says:

I have to beat the game first. According to your health status, it says you have 6,000 percent of health. So, either it’s flawed, or you can. I have no Idea.

  23. PS3PLAYER08No Gravatar says:

Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work! :)

  24. kanetidusNo Gravatar says:

i want to beat the monster on the mission 55 to obtain the Growth Egg. I have done over 20 hours of grinding, but it’s still not enough. And i have manage, finally, to kill some big monsters with death spell(hard as hell)

  25. hannahnelson80No Gravatar says:

Yeah but you do almost 100k damage per hit, I only do 10k damage. HOW DO YOU HAVE SUCH ADVANCED WEAPONS?!?!?!

  26. CojackIINo Gravatar says:

Holy fucking shit I beat it!
My team had like 8000 HP each, I used death and on my 4rth attempt (only!) I killed the big plant!!
    Yaay :D

    Thanks :)

  27. RykenCCGNo Gravatar says:

I’m at chapter 12, right after where barthandelus talks to you before you enter edenhall. I’m leveling off of the adamantoise but can i still go back to this spot?
And when I encountered that stone at first it wasn’t activated what was my problem?

  28. babydoonNo Gravatar says:

Was trying this for about 15mins. Then lost patience and started looking on youtube for Lucky Stagger technique, while still casting death without really paying attention to the game…

…BAM! — he suddenly dissapeared ^^!! (succesfull Death cast) =)

Thx for the Great, simple technique Bro! <3

  29. spikecrunchytooth1No Gravatar says:

This technique worked but it took me a stressful hour. I killed those little shits in about 2 minutes and the other 50 minutes was that fatass not dying to death. He legit reached about 1/3 health remaining until death finally worked and I was only using death on him

  30. buddah1978egyptNo Gravatar says:

like kuunami said, just need sab/sen/med, both shrouds and spam death, can do this as soon as you can get the mission, imperial helps too, may take a few tries, but its dam effective, also means you dont even have to grind cp throughout the game, as long as you go ocd like me and have to kill every mob. i did it with vanille/snow/lightning, auora scarfs all round, and repeated paradigms for atb refresh, the screech attack will kill you,.After use summon straight away after neo is dead to help

  31. TheUltimatt101No Gravatar says:

first u do when u start this fight do this be Vanille and Fang,Hope first keep using Death on it when if it is a success summon Hecatoncheir then take out the little minions.

  32. 3N3MYBOATSPOTTEDNo Gravatar says:

god I hated this fight I used your technique and worked well but it took me 34 minutes to do it!

  33. oddlekinsNo Gravatar says:

    Used Vanille, Snow and Lightning.
    Vanille – Saboteur / Medic
    Snow – Sentinel (always)
    Lightning – Commando / Medic

Started with the paradigm Attrition. ( Vanille on Saboteur, Snow on Sentinel and Lightning on Medic )
Killed the huge fat boss with my first cast of Death.
Then switched between Solidarity ( Vanille on Medic, Snow on Sentinel and Lightning on Commando ) and Combat Clinic ( Vanille and Lightning on Medic while Snow on Sentinel ) to kill the annoying little minions.

    Total battle

  34. kuunamiNo Gravatar says:

Took me about 8 tries of spamming death. Nobody in my party is over 7000 HP.

I used Vanille Snow Hop and started of with Sab/Sen/Med
Snow was the key for me because I using Fang at first but she kept dying. Snow is a tank when it comes to Sentinel.

After I killed him with Death, I switch to Med/Com/Med to play it safe. I’m guessing that Med/Sen/Rav would be okay too. Finished the battle in about 4 minutes for the 5 star kill.

  35. Saturn1302002No Gravatar says:

@GrizzlyDeluxe its kinda like the first battle you have with him. He wont summon any allies to assist him until he reaches 50% health. Then the match is on and he continues to summon them repeatedly.

  36. Saturn1302002No Gravatar says:

@TheUltimatt101 Notice he is European playing on a Japanese version of the game. In Japanese the names of characters and locations slightly differ and anybody with a brain or even just a little bit of knowledge would know that. If you are going to complain, just watch another video. At least this guy is helping people with a strategy. Names arent important if you know what the hell he is talking about! Moron

  37. SWH1990No Gravatar says:

There are actually how many levels of Crystarium?

  38. TheUltimatt101No Gravatar says:

i finished this last night with fully upgraded final form weapons and accessories.

  39. TheUltimatt101No Gravatar says:

just a dumbass doesnt even how to say Vanille and Oerba right

  40. erailroadNo Gravatar says:

can youget 2 grow eggs i sold this on like a retaard

  41. teilzeitcurrywurstNo Gravatar says:

when you got growth egg and equiped it, does only the character equiped with it double CP???

  42. teilzeitcurrywurstNo Gravatar says:

@KellarJS yes. after mission 14 you can ride chocobos and only with that you are able to get to the area where the monsters are located

  43. TheLarsRosenNo Gravatar says:

Wich stats do you need for this mission?

  44. TheLarsRosenNo Gravatar says:

    @KellarJS
    Yes

  45. KellarJSNo Gravatar says:

do i have to do mission14 first to unlock 55? pm me i would appreciate it!!!!

  46. TheAndyRaeNo Gravatar says:

“i fucking get it on my 2nd attempt” :L you are well lucky there ma friend!

  47. dragonkiller63729No Gravatar says:

My best advice is the Attrition(Sab-Med-Sen) paradigm. Vanille, Hope, Fang as the party. Hope will (most likely) keep Fang healed as she is attacked while you use Vanille to try and instantly kill the Neochu. It worked for me after about 7 tries. Got 5 stars, and on top of that, I used Hecatoncheir to kill off the Picochu’s and received the Limit Breaker trophy without even trying to! How cool is that!

  48. dragonkiller63729No Gravatar says:

Give Vanille the Belladonna Wand, or Malboro Wand for the higher stats. I highly recommend this BEFORE going into Orphan’s Cradle because in there is one of the BEST grinding spots of ALL TIME, and it’s a one shot opportunity. If you get the growth egg before then, you can quite possibly max out the entire available crystarium in about an hour or so.

  49. ZGirlGamerNo Gravatar says:

You gotta love Death. Mwahahahah! My max health was only at 8340. But I did have to upgrade a few things like Power Glove, Warriors Wristband and a few General’s Belts for it. But it was worth it. I 5 starred the freaking bastard too. Thanks for the tutorial.

  50. StabalizedNo Gravatar says:

@RPGFinalFantasy Did for me. on my first try :D ! Uprade a staff that starts with the letter B and has alot of letters you buy it in the plauto workshop. then upgrade it to malbaro staff = debuf II
