ファイナルファンタジー FFXIII JP – Boss 11 “Balander” [HD]

Anyways.. OMG.. I can finally decide who I want in my party before this boss at the end of Ch09! Sadly the restriction is Lightning has to be the leader… All of you who knows my party member style knows I would always go for my L4… but since Afrudo (aka Sazh) is so badass and awesome.. he gets an exception (plus I don’t really like Fang). So.. presenting my main core L4 team Sweet Lightning, Yummy Vanille and Pedro Afrudo! What’s my advantage and disadvantage of this group? For one thing, there is no Defender role for any of the chars… I might give either Lightning or Sazh the role later (man his afro is impenetrable)! BUT, Sazh has the buff skills I love… Haste + Faith + Brave = Win Haste is so important in boss and normal battle (more than Defender currently). The reason is because it allows you to pull off tons of attacks almost 2x faster than normal.. that’s more healing, breaking and such. Last, it looks like every character have their own skills almost… no one else has Haste (from what I know so far).. and Hope has all the “defensive” buffs like Protect and Shell (I wish Sazh have those too)… dang, that makes it difficulty to get a party I like …

I always get past the heads by doing thunder head then blizzard head then fire then water but I then get raped by his lazor.
Is it me or does his CHARGIN MA LAZOR attack sucks?
This boss was easy compared to that flying gunship.
i heard someone say on a walkthrough that you wasted too much time with all the switches he posted your video saing it was a perfect example of wasted time. he didnt know what u were doing
1. you kept switching to keep your buffs up with sazh.
2. keeping health full due to power htat makes characters stronger at full health
3.he said that you put odin out there pointlessly. i didnt see a poitn but onyl a flashy ending and i love flashy endings^_^ and one of your team was nearly dead.

a bunch of frogs or pulse mechas are much more difficult than this guy xD
he loads his “mega attack” for almost a minute, and it sucks xD

It’s FAR to be the final boss. FAR…
its east nw as long as you hav vannile and use slow its easy as hell
i had the same problem i eventually killed him but got no stars lol
This dude stumped me for like 5 hours and probably a dozen play throughs. Even after I went back and grinded to max out my characters’ crystarium I didn’t do near the damage you did and could only stagger him for long enough to get Odin out with haste cast on all of my parties after using a fortisol.
I found that when he was charging stop what you are doing and hammer the crap out of him until he flashes once, then heal and take a defensive stance. His charged attack won’t hurt as much this way
Although he does seem like it from his appearance/music, this is sadly only the first of 3 times you fight him, this one being the easiest.

a hell of trouble dis boss is i remember i die so many times because dis ass use doom o.o*
use commando mode on sazh as well and this boss will go quickly even with vanille as a healer

i always take alot of damage 4 some reason then spend most of my time trying 2 stay alive
Got him on the first try…this boss is so bad ass with his 3million damage points and this voice! I loved this fight.

Level 4 Crystarium though, so it was pretty easy.

Thank you for this vid! This pt setup finally did it, 3rd try. The bosses in this game are so much harder than any other FF… that or I’ve been playing FF11 too much.. probably both.
Haste from Sazh. Doubles the speed. This is very risky, loosing an NPC healer, requires u to really pay attention being ur own healer.
But well worth it if u can keep up with it.
