Review by Joseph J. Aprano for Final Fantasy VIII Squall Leonhart Ring, Necklace, Bracelet, Gunblade Box Set
Rating:
I’ve had it. I looked at each piece individually and I am extremely dissatisfied.
The Box- This is the only redeeming aspect to this product. It is nice, it is sturdy, and well designed.
Gunblade- Although it is nice, it is not Squall’s. The piece itself is very well made, but it is incorrect. The main problem here is the inscribed image on the blade- It is supposed to be Griever, a lion. Instead, it is hard to tell what it is, and leans more towards a flying phoenix, or simply a mess of flame.
Griever Ring- The image is a dragon. Not a lion like it should be, but a dragon. Sorry, Lions do not have scales. This is most disturbing/disappointing.
Griever Necklace- I did not realize this was a female necklace. It’s done completely wrong. The chain should wrap around and combine with itself, to let the pendant hand down on the excess chain. Instead, it sits on the circular chain like a charm. The pendant is nice, but the chain really takes away from it.
Bracelet with Rinoa- A disappointment. It’s like someone just printed out her images and pasted them to circular disks. Not crafty, not nice, just an eyesore.Unlike reviews I did read, no- it really was Rinoa, not Yuna.
Other Bracelet- Well it looks nice, too bad anyone over the age of 5 will never get it wrap completley around any part of their body.
I am utterly disgusted with this. This is better off in a child’s fake jewelry department at a toystore. There is absolutley no reason to buy this unless you really want to spend $20 on a really nice box.

When i got the box i was really excited. But when i opened it,i found out that everything was from FFVIII except the girls bracelet. Its pictures of yuna from FFX,my girlfriend still wanted though i expected more out of the box.The necklace is an average length of a necklace, but when i putted on,it felt like it was really short. If you want to buy it and your a FF fan, then go for this box.

the gunblade ring for attachment cant hold up to standard use. the name forgot to mention that it comes with 2 braclets. one braclet is male, and the other is female. other than that final fantasy is awsome, and their gear still looks cool.

I agree with the other reviewer in saying, “the best part is the box”. The counterfeit product I received was terribly crafted. The bracelet had stickers of characters from FFVII-X, odd for an authentic FFVII product. The bogus seller I got mine from looks to have made a mold of the original product, then pourn in poor quality pewter and voila, garbage suitable for a bazzaar is made… that I shamefully enough purchased. Don’t make the same mistake I did and save the children from lead poisoning, haha
