Final Fantasy XIII – How to beat Bahamut
For this battle you will be forced to use fang lightning and vanille. When the fight starts switch to Combat Clinic and just defend his opening combos are brutal. Keep defending until your doom counter hits about 1000. At this point switch to Delta attack and lay into him for a bit this should take the Gestalt gauge up a hell of a lot. If a party member gets below 50% hp then switch back to Combat Clinic and heal then switch back to Delta Attack keep going like this and you should beat him with ease.

@ourlastfantasy Combat Clinic is only useful for healing because this guy rapes you with a barrage of attacks. You should go into Mystic Tower (SEN/RAV/RAV) and attack him then when he comes at you just switch back to Combat Clinic. Shrouds aren’t necessary and putting debuffs on him would help.
my gestalt gauge won’t charge at all if i’m using combat clinic.. idk what to do
Wouldn’t it be better to use Lightning as Ravager instead of Com since he yields to those who(you know.. stagger thingy)
That hp isn’t too high for where he’s at. If he stayed back and grinded cp he PROBABLY spent a lot of cp in other roles to get more hp
if you need more hp dont skip the fights.
when you die u can run back and fight the monsters to get some CP
and when u do that add your those three.

How is everyone’s HP so high!? I’m at this fight right now without having much problem with this game at all and my char’s HPs are around 1400-1800!
meh Vanille has 800 something HP
& Fang doesn’t know counter!!

Yeah.it’s called entrench.you counterattack after defending.
you have to use guard as fang? i don’t get it dose she block moves then when shes done blocking dose she automaticly attack?
do u know what weapons u had equipted for Lightning, Fang and Vanille?
Bahamut is also susceptible to slow.

holly shit Lightning is mostly getting her ass kicked but Vanille got damaged more at the end!

She’s got twice the HP as that lil emo kid with the magic powers, and can heal and do much more than him.
The fact they ever force you to use that other kid is sad. He is a backstabing hater.

lol i tried it that stupid vanille died twice and made it all crazy and i got him when my doom clock got to 1 lol
@808Dagr81 yeah man!!! that surely works! curse and slow with fang then i switched to diversity COM/RAV/MED until slow wore off then i went back to SAB/MED/MED and put slow and curse back on him!! DID THE TRICK! FAST! All 3 of HP Fang = 1440, Lightning = 1420, and Vanille = 1350 =D
final fantasy 13 is a good game but its sad how hard they made some of the bosses
i just tryed think boss and i did it first time with ease i still had 1050 time left aswell ive never faced such a easy boss just attack untill you need to heath then hes nearly dead anyway so just finish him off with fang on commando and lightining on ravanger and vanilie on med
