@TheCRUSNIK01 it is necessary if you want loots worth over 1.1 M gil. only tample pole can give you that after you dismantle tier 3 MAX weapon.
is it necessary to dismantle a tier 3 kains lance ?
@tb34h well, i played it as soon as it was released. so i didnt know anything. i just dont want people asking me about is it xbox or ps3. and also, xbox version might not be the same like ps3, for example, star ocean the last hope.
Why did you add (xbox360) to the title? They’re the exact same things except the xbox360 doesn’t have as many features on Final Fantasy 13
@Tilearian each weapon has its name until you upgrade it to ultimate stage. thats why we dont have 6 x Sazh`s ultimate weapons. that means, we only need to upgrade one weapon to ultimate stage for the achivement/torphy. you wont be able to upgrade it after it reaches its ultimate stage.
I dont think I’m understanding this at all… Total Eclipses is Sazh’s ultimate weapon… And they don’t name the weapon itself ultimate weapon just give it the star and wont let you upgraded it anymore? Is that what’s going on
@kasimhussain21 i know what you mean. you were lucky. thats all. sometime i did get 3 platinum ingorts from 4 adamantoises. i later turned off the console for about 20 secs to reset the programme and then reload the game to farm platinum ingorts if i didnt get anything from 2/3 fights(7 mins avg per fight). the best thing is, take off the plug from xbox/ps3 completely for 20 secs. it will definitely change something.
@TheJRPGgamer I speak the truth no lies or BS. I had collector catalog and used vanile death. just kept circling that area and gettin the TP up with the guards. in addition, rather than keep walking in and out I just saved it after I killed the Admantine then reloaded the game rather than go back out and all monsters and gurads reappear. maybe the reloading had something to do with it. also I get an Ingot after every three or four goes at least. peace.
@kasimhussain21 you cant say that you got this amount within this time. the items drops randomly. i got nothing for 2 hours TWICE.
@southside58 Go back too Leviathan Plaza (chapter 12 area)…got there today and got Trap item things and Platimun ingots from Admantoise thing. After about two hours i already have like 5 ingots and three trap things. peace

old FF series like FFX and FFXII were good where killing monsters would drop several loots and gils
but in FFXIII, i find it less rewarding
even with loots, u get only 1 or 2 per battle… if unlucky u get none

i barely got 1 platinum ingort and 2 trapezohedron in 2 days of farming with cheesy casting death

@southside58 yes, they are very expensive but i had over 40 platinum ingorts to spend after days of farming it. XD

Arent those just maxed out weapons.they are not ultimate weapons.
you can get trap either by dismantling ultimate weapons or farming with adamantoises. you wont have a problem of getting them if you are going for treasure hunter achievement.
Where did you get all of the trapezohedrons from?
Those costs 2 million each.
