All characters are unmaxed level4 roles. Sazh-873 str Snow-1079 str Fang- 1445 Trying to find a way for this to work without coldblood, probably have to add more str to Sazh if I want that to happen.

Genuine question: I don’t get it – I’ve just finished maxing my characters base skills to lvl 4 in the Crystarium and I don’t have anywhere near 7000HP on any of them. I think Sazh is my highest at under 5000HP. So how can you have got their HP that high without finishing lvl 4 in the Crystarium?

I am using Canopus AMPs lvl 13. Think that’s the problem? And yes, I have Fang as Sab while I’m coldbloodingl. I also only cold blood once. It hits 999.9 right at end of cold blooded, at which point I am turning into Cerberus.
@Lurker87 Did you make sure that Fang was a Saboteur while Sazh cold blooded for the slow, deprotect, and the deshell as well as Snow being Ravager for the extra stagger? And is Sazh using Procyons? If you did this and still can’t kill him maybe you should try cold blooding just once so you can get in the extra blitzes.
I do everything as close to exactly the same as I can. I switched at same points, at the same %s, waited for snow to come in right as summon left, then bravery/hasted him, followed by bravery/hasting fang. Then, putting on one coldblooded right after he staggers, changing to cerberus as soon as coldblooded is about to hit 999.9%. Then Blitz him as much as possible. I even change cerberus to cerberus every 2 turns for the gauge refill. He gets up at like 20% health, and still staggered, kills me
HOWOWOW I do it with fang 2400 str Light 1600/1600 str+ magic and hope 2200 magic. It takes me 10 seconds longer to kill adamantoise

I finally took one of these badboys down, playing the game for the first time so I had to try for several hours, but man did it feel good, I used the strategy on this video. It felt as if my pride as a gamer was on stake and I just had to kill one to move on, felt surprisingly good afterwards, like I actually accomplished something, which might be sad but who cares! Thanks for the video!

I kept trying to come up with how to abuse Sazh’s blitz on my own, since I didn’t memorize exactly how you did it in the video and wanted to see if I could figure it out myself. I was doing terrible job of deciding what buffs and debuffs I actually needed and decided to just watch the video again, but at least I got an Ingot when I won with Sazh just now. I’m on my second playthrough though so I’m wasting time

Thanks for the method, I love it. I was able to do this immediately after beating the final boss.
Using the high-strength paper tiger weapons for Sazh and Snow makes this even easier. You’re not going to take any damage, so you may as well sacrifice the HP. Killing the soldiers nearby lets you regain TP quickly.
