Question by Gigan: Final Fantasy 13 Question?
Quick question about FF13 – I seem to be getting weaker as it goes on, fights getting harder and me not keeping up. (I’m at chapter 11, been farming but still stuck at the mobs even – for instance I cannot kill any rangas without getting a preemptive strike, and THEN summoning and going right to gestalt mode)

What is the problem?
-That im still using +13 starting weapons? If so, i don’t know which to conentrate on upgrading.
-That my crystariums are weak? I have the crystariums for the respective roles my characters play virtually maxed. Does, for instance, hp I upgrade for sentinel come into effect in other roles as well?
-My team? Hope/Lightning/Snow, with 1370/1776/2400 hp respectively. I have gotten to mission 12 (the optional ones), and cannot advance in that, or even do some of the older missions without summons/fortisol. Help?

(I am trying to farm mission 7 for those speedy shoes, but I cannot kill it since i used my last fortisol…and I got hermes sandals last time )

Chapter 11 does make things harder pretty quickly. Look for other areas to train, there are weaker enemies around.
Your weapons do sound underpowered. Look in the shops for ones with high starting stats and good special abilities. You should have picked some up during the course of the game.
The missions get harder even more quickly. You don’t have to do them in order though. Each one has a * rating for the difficulty. Look for the lower ones.
Keep going with the Crystarium. The stat boosts count for all roles, like a +50 hp will be on your character permanently,.

Honestly I think it’s a great idea! Xbox lacks good RPG’s and Sony is terribly marketing the PS3. Plus I don’t have the money for one. (It seems way too expensive for a console that doesn’t really have any good games and is simply a DVD player) Like seriously. Wtf is with Blu Ray? DVD’s are ftw man.

So far FF13 has looked really impressive. Nice graphics, battle system, and music. I LOVE Lightning. (Even though she is a female Cloud) And I think Snow is gonna be cool. All I’m worried about is the story. FF12 wasn’t too bad but I really think they could have done without Penelo and Basch. Make Ashe the main character and give Vaan a better background story and it would have been 10x better.

I’m anxiously waiting for KH 358/2 Days to come out. So I’m probably gonna preorder this when I can. Reminds me of how I’m also waiting for Assassin’s Creed 2 (which looks very impressive)

Looks promising. I have both the 360 and PS3, graphics on 360 are better, hands down.

But I may buy FFXIII for PS3 if it is on one disc as opposed to 4 or 5 DVDs for 360!

FFXIII versus looks good as well.

Question by : Why does lightning start the intro for Final Fantasy 13-2 alone and fighting Behamut? Where is she running?
What has happened since final fantasy 13 to the group and why is Lightning alone and running away. I must have missed some info on whats happened since they saved cacoon. Can someone fill me in the the happenings with Lightning since the end of FF13? and any other info about the others like snow and saz, and serah? Any links or info would help a great deal.
I’v beaten the first game i understand how it ends but like it says in gameinformer lightning has left for some reason and that she is being chased by behamut, I’m curious if anyone knows why she left and how she ended up where she is running. my question is what has happened to her since to make her supposedly dead to serah and why shes alone now?

the game isn’t out yet so no one knows. Lightning is “missing” but Serah somehow remembers her and is searching for Lightning. The only thing shown at the end of XIII was that Serah and Snow got together as did Sazh and Dajh. Lightning was happy for Serah, and Vanille and Fang sacrificed themselves to save Cocoon from killing everyone.

Now all the denizens of Cocoon are trying to inhabit Pulse. For the most part you’ll be playing as Serah and Noel according to Square Enix, but Lightning will be playable and other members of the XIII team will make appearances. Whether or not the other old members are playable hasn’t been revealed. It has been said that Lightning is even more powerful than she was after finishing XIII, so you can assume that Snow, Sazh, and Hope are either just as powerful or even more powerful as well.

That’s all the info I’ve found that’s legit. The Tokyo Game Show in the fall will definitely reveal more. It’s coming out “Early 2012″ according to SE, but Game Informer said January.

Question by Sean: how do I beat ambling bellows in ff13?
I could never beat the normal type of these things i had to sneak around them. Like with the normal kind, if u kill all the minion robots he summons more and more and more. I can get him half staggered but then the gauge just drops really fast. I use lightning vanille and snow. I switch between com/med/sen (to keep the gauge up but it falls anyway) and rav/med/sen (to stagger him but the gauge starts falling really fast after about 250% of gauge filled)

what you need to do is start the match with rav,rav,sen (mystic tower) nd focus on the ambling bellow , once his finished, u wnt hav trouble with the rest. wen i first encounterd them i kept losin, soooo i went to do more cp farming nd wen i came back thy were easy. POSSIBLE SPOILER,oh and u better toughen up coz if ur havin trouble wiv thm , theres a tough boss battle l8r on.
